II Bird's Walk

Once again, and this makes two, Saturday 18 February was the day of the “Bird’s Walk”, in memory of our friend and fellow member Toni Caminal, who left us some time ago.

All together, we walked the whole Collserola range, from the Besòs to the Llobregat, following paths and corners that Toni loved dearly.

The day was splendid, neither cold nor hot, bright sunshine and very good company. Afterwards, we all had lunch together. After almost 25 kilometres of walking, a good bite to eat was a fine way to round off such a special day.

Toni, while we fly at the weekends we know you are watching us closely and, every now and then, you conjure up a thermal that gets us out of a tight spot. We won’t forget you!
