Antonio Montes flies the PW5 for the first time, moving on from the ASK-13 training two-seater.
Little by little, our students are moving on from the AS-K13 training two-seater to a higher-performance glider, the PW5.
On Saturday, 25 April 2018, Antonio Montes — still a student, but flying solo for some time now — flew a “plastic” glider for the first time: the club’s PW5.
Towards the afternoon, once there was no turbulence or wind left, the moment came. As a first taste of a “piwi,” a short flight was enough.
Happy flying and congratulations, Antonio!
